This morning, thousands of Bay Staters awoke to news that heavily armed militia members were swarming the woods of their sleepy suburbs north of Boston. The group, pulled over on the side of the highway to refuel their vehicles from containers of gasoline, told a state trooper who drove up to help that their organization “doesn’t recognize our laws.”
