The CDC Mask Psychos Ratchet Up The Pain
If you're flying on a plane, the performance art continues for you.
Extending the mask mandate on planes makes no sense. Covid doesn’t really spread on planes. That is a fact.
But it seems like it would, right?
All those people stuck together for hours in that big cylinder. Packed in real close, shoulder to shoulder- seems like superspreader material.
This measure is made to excite the Democratic base - the only remaining voting block they have - to make sure at least those voters go to the polls in November.
Dems are probably going to get slaughtered this fall so anything that can ameliorate the damage must be done. Whether it’s ethanol measures, ghost guns and in this case the reanimation of the pandemic, the party of Joe Biden sees the writing on the wall.
In the case of the masks on planes, though, it gives good progressives the opportunity to differentiate themselves from the rest of us.
They can send viral videos around showing flight attendants wrestling with partners and declare that they are on the civil side of the argument.
Further, these same progressives will get to again bask in the warmth of their government acting as a nurturing, paternal figure. It fills a void.
Prepare for more acts of desperation from this crew at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as they implement recommendations from psychotic bureaucrats. These are desperate times.
And it’s beautiful.
